Job Description

Job Title: Healthcare Data Migration Analyst (EHR/Cerner Specialist)

Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Required Qualifications:

Expertise in database management systems and data migration, with a strong emphasis on healthcare EHR systems.
Proficiency in Oracle Cerner Millennium database and Cerner Command Language (CCL) for data extraction scripting.
Experience in business analysis, including reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating user requirements and operational procedures.
Knowledge of EHR application domains, including workflow analysis and development.
Ability to document process flows and standardize process improvements.
Skill in preparing specifications for data input/output processes and resolving complex data-related issues.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of current IT industry trends.
Understanding of architectural concepts and principles related to infrastructure and information systems.
Strong interpersonal abilities to lead diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates.
Prior experience with SaaS model EHR systems and cloud data migrations.
Familiarity with existing and planned software technology and architecture.
Experience in regulatory compliance and data security related to healthcare data.
Knowledge of Agile Scrum Methodology.

Responsibilities:

Assemble and lead a team of Cerner Analysts for migration projects.
Develop and implement data extraction scripts using CCL.
Analyze user requirements and operational procedures to identify solutions.
Document and standardize process flows.
Prepare specifications for data processes and resolve data-related issues.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Apply knowledge of IT industry trends strategically.
Utilize architectural principles in system design.
Lead diverse teams to achieve project goals.
