"We are seeking a [Travel RN - MedSurg / Telemetry] for a 13-week travel/contract assignment in Rochester, New York, 14626 ."

Job Details:

• Shift: 12hr Days; 7AM - 7PM

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

• Weekly Pay Rate: $1800 $1944

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in MedSurg, Telemetry units.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and telemetry monitoring.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, post-discharge care, and treatment plans.
• Ensure accurate documentation in Epic EMR.
• Float to similar units as required. If assigned to ICU or ED, responsibilities will be limited to MedSurg-level patients or assisting staff.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in New York State.
• Minimum 2 years of recent MedSurg/Telemetry experience (will consider that have 1 year experience).
• BLS certification (Required).
• MSTELE certification.
• Epic EMR experience.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
