Job Description

This position is responsible for the overall coordination of seamless care for patients in a surgical and/or procedural clinic setting. This position balances a complex daily workload, with multiple conflicting priorities, while providing superior customer service and surgery scheduling capabilities. This position must keep current with frequently changing medical insurance and authorization requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years Experience in healthcare setting with increased responsibilities or customer service type role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.

  • 1 year of insurance authorization is preferred.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology desired.

  • Solid understanding of CPT and ICD10 coding.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
